T O P I C R E V I E Wandrea22I searched about separating and applying ascpects in natal. One astrologer texted that Pluto can't can never make applying aspect. (but no explanation as to why)Is that true?Does it mean that pluto applying to planets don't count then at all in people's charts?GrahamThe astrologer was referring to planetary cycles. In those 24/7/52 TRANSIT cycles between two MOVING planets in the sky, Pluto can never get ahead of any other planet - because it is the slowest moving of them all. Hence, it can never apply in a transit planet to transit planet aspect. However, in the natal chart, each planet's zodiac position at the time of birth is "frozen" forever ... so progressed and transit Pluto is moving faster than all of them. Hence, progressed and transit Pluto CAN apply to planets in any chart where their location/zodiac position is "permanent".Apologies if my comment is confusing, but it is a difficult thing to explain clearly.RandallBump!GalacticCoreExplosion So you see, Pluto is like a turtle and Mercury, Venus, Sun, etc are like hares, and Jupiter and Saturn are like bears, and Neptune is a manatee.. J/K! I think Graham explained it as well as is possible. It's part of the multi layered joke. I have written two threads/posts in the semi recent past on how I was planning on leaving here (mostly to work on the book) and yet here I am still. Was poking fun at myself in an indirect way.
